Guangdong Luby Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2003 and is currently located in the Songshan Lake Science and Technology Industrial Park in Dongguan City. On May 22, 2011, the Songshan Lake Health Appliance Industrial Park of Luby Electronic was officially completed and put into operation. Covering an area of nearly 40,000 square meters, the park comprises a main building area of approximately 25,000 square meters, including one comprehensive office building, three modern production workshops, and one research and development center. Upon full operation, its annual production capacity is expected to reach around 1.5 billion yuan.
Luby Electronic has a long-standing advantage in the research and development of kitchen appliances and has always considered independent research and development as the cornerstone of its business development. The company invests substantial funds each year in the development and technological innovation of new products. By the end of December 2011, Luby had accumulated a total of 180 patents, including 6 invention patents, 98 utility model patents, 64 design patents, and 9 copyright authorizations. Additionally, it successfully submitted 1 international invention patent (PCT), which has entered Taiwan. The company’s numerous patent achievements lead the industry and have been involved in the drafting of industry standards and national standards for several products such as electromagnetic cookers, rice cookers, pressure cookers, soy milk machines, food processors, among others. In 2011, it was rated as a provincial 4A-level enterprise for its good behavior in standardization.
To enhance the value supply chain of health appliance products, Luby Electronic actively collaborates in industrial, academic, and research partnerships. It established the “Dongguan Health Appliance Technology Research Institute” with Sichuan University, recognized as a provincial industry-academia-research base in 2009. To strengthen its proprietary brand and technology development path, Luby established the Guangdong Luby Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. Technical Center in 2007, which was recognized as a provincial enterprise technology center in 2009.
