Jiajia Food Group Co., Ltd. was founded in 1996 and is a well-known Chinese joint-stock seasoning food enterprise. It owns four subsidiary companies and has received three national-level honors, ranking second in the Chinese soy sauce industry in terms of overall strength.

On January 6, 2012, the company successfully went public on the A-share capital market and earned the title of “China’s First Soy Sauce Stock.” Its stock is listed under the abbreviation “Jiajia Food” with the stock code 002650. It became the first locally-based listed company in Ningxiang. The funds raised from Jiajia Group’s IPO were allocated to two major projects: a high-quality soy sauce project with an annual production capacity of 200,000 tons and a high-quality camellia oil project with an annual production capacity of 10,000 tons. These projects were planned and constructed within the Ningxiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, covering a total area of 420 acres. This endeavor is a vital strategic move in line with the company’s development plan, aimed at upgrading its product structure. Once completed, it will further strengthen its position in the soy sauce and edible oil sectors. It is estimated that the project’s output value will reach 5 billion yuan within three years, which will greatly boost the development of the Chinese condiment industry, promote the revitalization of national industries, and contribute to the creation of a centennial enterprise.

In 2009, the company’s sales revenue exceeded several billion yuan, with tax profits exceeding one billion yuan. The group comprises four wholly-owned subsidiary companies, including Changsha Jiajia Food Sales Co., Ltd., Pancun Cereals and Oils Food (Changsha) Co., Ltd., Zhengzhou Jiajia Flavor Industry Co., Ltd., and Jiajia Food Group (Langzhong) Co., Ltd.

Over the years, the company has continuously pursued efficient development and strived to enhance its research and development and self-testing capabilities to ensure food quality and safety. In 2012 alone, the research and development department successfully developed nine new product varieties with 20 specifications launched, enriching the product portfolio. The company consistently improved its existing equipment, enhanced its production processes, reduced energy consumption, and conducted research projects to address technical issues related to production. In 2012, the company invested nearly 3 million yuan to acquire 22 research and development devices and testing instruments, including gas chromatographs, atomic fluorescence spectrophotometers, and atomic absorption spectrophotometers, among other precision instruments.

The company’s operating strategy revolves around the “Jiajia” soy sauce series while promoting the simultaneous development of multiple product categories, such as vinegar, chicken essence, monosodium glutamate, and edible vegetable oil, with shared marketing channels. Tailored to the diverse demands across different regions of China, Jiajia has developed over 80 unique product categories, including special soy sauces like red-cooked soy sauce and noodle sauce. These products have gained popularity among consumers. Through years of relentless efforts, the company has established nearly 1,200 distributors across China, with production centers in Hunan Changsha, Henan Xinzheng, and Sichuan Langzhong, forming a nationwide sales network.

The company has equipped itself with sealed automatic production lines and high-standard testing equipment that meet food production requirements. It employs modern biotechnology in its production processes and has comprehensively implemented the ISO9001 quality management system, ISO22000 food safety management system, and ISO14001 environmental management system. These measures help monitor all factors affecting quality, ensuring the production of consistently high-quality products. Adhering to the company’s policy of “Our products and services must satisfy our customers 100%,” the functional departments have achieved a 100% qualification rate in inspections over the past three years, with customer satisfaction surveys scoring above 85 points and a 100% satisfaction rate in customer complaint handling.

The company has received numerous honors, including being recognized as a “China Famous Brand,” “China Well-known Trademark,” “National Key Leading Enterprise in Agricultural Industrialization,” “National Key Enterprise in the Food Industry,” “National Soy Sauce Demonstration Enterprise,” and “Food Safety Demonstration Unit.” In the eyes of consumers, “Jiajia” has become a symbol of high-quality and delicious living.

Jiajia has always incorporated “gratitude and giving back” as part of its corporate culture and actively assumed social responsibilities. The company has donated over 12 million yuan to support various charitable causes, including aiding the disabled, poverty alleviation, education assistance, disaster relief, rural road construction, and joint military-civilian projects. In 2008, Jiajia Group donated over 2.6 million yuan to the earthquake-stricken Wenchuan area in Sichuan. In 2009, it continued its support by helping rebuild Hope Primary Schools in the disaster-affected areas and establishing the “Ningxiang County Experimental Middle School Rural Impoverished Students Education Fund.” The company also actively supported the construction of the “Ningxiang County Left-behind Children Family Education Guidance Center,” organized by the Hunan Women’s Federation.

Since its establishment and commencement of production, the company’s output value has maintained rapid growth, growing from an initial annual output value of over 20 million yuan to 1.46 billion yuan in 2010.
